We need more housing, but affordability cannot be solved by making it more expensive and complicated to build.
What I believe
I support responsible growth that follows our Official Community Plan while reducing unnecessary delays, duplication and costs.
What I am concerned about
Permitting delays, duplication and unclear requirements add time and expense to every project, costs that ultimately land on future homeowners and renters.
What I will push for
City Hall should set clear expectations, reasonable timelines and then hold both applicants and the City accountable for meeting them.
