Accountability at City Hall
Elected officials are there to represent the public, ask difficult questions and make informed decisions.
What I believe
I will not support something simply because it is recommended by staff or because it is politically beneficial.
What I am concerned about
Big-ticket projects can move through council without enough hard questioning about cost overruns, financing terms, or whether the timing makes sense for taxpayers right now.
What I will push for
I will read the reports, examine the numbers, ask the questions and speak up when something does not make sense. That is the kind of representation taxpayers should expect.
